Webmaster(Web and Master) is a person who maintains one or multiple websites or blog. A webmaster is also known as website administrator, web architect, a site author or web developer. Web server maintenance, Web hardware or software management is a primary duty of a web master. The major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing offers Web Master tools where we can submit our blogs or websites for indexing, crawling in search results. Google, Yahoo and Bing use crawlers to find webpages for their user specified search results. If we are a blogger or Website owner then we would like that those search engine to crawl, index and find our blogs or webpages and send millions of visitors to our blog or website.
Every blogger or website owner’s goal to get more visitors is not difficult if we use some free tools like Google Webmasters Tool, Bing Webmaster Center(Both Yahoo and Bing) to get more online traffics for our blog or site. Google helps us by sending visitors traffics in our blog. As Google says that no blog or website can get place in Google's top 10 search results by paying money to Google. So we have to take legal steps to get traffic for our blog or site. All major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing have useful Webmaster tools, where we can submit our blogs or websites and make our blogs or sites more visible in search engines’ eyes. If your blog or website is not indexed by the three major search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo then this is not good for you if you are hoping to get the traffic to your website or blog and you can’t achieve your goal like earn handsome revenue by more visitors. Submit your website or blog to search engines, so that they will crawl it and indexed your site into the search engines and after that your website or blog appears in the search results. Now we are going to learn a to z about blog or website submission to Google, Bing and Yahoo.
Submit a Blog or Website to Google Webmasters Tool
Now lets start to learn how to submit your Blogger blog to Google. We will learn both, Blog and Website submission process. A specific website can be added by following this tutorial.
1. First go to Blogger Dashboard and log into your blogger account. A Blogger Dashboard page will be opened.
2. Now click on your blog’s name then navigate below and click Open Webmasters Tool in Blogger Guide section.

3. When Google Webmasters Tools page opens, click on ADD A SITE button at right side of the page. 
4. When Add a side web dialog box opens, enter your blog URL in Enter the URL of a site you'd like to manage without www or http://. Don’t add your country specified domain name at the end of your blog URL like .in, .pk, .tk. Only enter your blog URL as surahiee.blogspot.com(Here yourblogname is your blog’s name given by you. we will use surahiee.blogspot.com for understanding the blog submission process.
4. For website owner5. Now click Continue button to proceed. Now you have to verify your ownership of your blog. You will see two tabs : (1) Recommended method, and (2) Alternate methods. You will see Recommended method tab opened. This method requires to upload an HTML file on your blog. Since Blogger.com is a free blog service that doesn’t allow you to upload an HTML file at your blog web server. Don’t worry and follow the next step.
6. Click on Alternate methods and click HTML Tag option button for HTML tag method for your blog verification. This process will generate a meta tag after clicking HTML Tag option button. The meta tag will look as below :

7. Now just select that meta tag and copy entire line by highlighting with mouse.
8. Now don’t close Google Webmasters Tool’s site verification page and go to Blogger Blogger Dashboard, now click More options button at right of your blog name.
9. Click Template option at left side menu, then click Edit HTML button to open your blog template HTML code editor window. (Don’t click Expand Widget Templates checkbox)
10. Now find for this tag : <head> (Press Ctrl + F to open Find dialog box in your browser)8. Now don’t close Google Webmasters Tool’s site verification page and go to Blogger Blogger Dashboard, now click More options button at right of your blog name.
9. Click Template option at left side menu, then click Edit HTML button to open your blog template HTML code editor window. (Don’t click Expand Widget Templates checkbox)
11. Now paste copied meta tag line in step - 6 exact below <head> tag,
12. Your pasted code line will look like this in your template code window.
13. Then click Save template button to save this change.
14. After finishing template saving process, go to Google Webmasters Tool page and click
Verify button below three verification methods.
15. After some process, you can see your site is verified and you have successfully added your site to Google Webmasters tool. You are all done.
